Raftaar, born Dilin Nair, is an Indian rapper, lyricist, dancer, and music producer. Born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, and raised in Delhi, he is widely recognized as a cornerstone of the modern Indian hip-hop revolution (Desi Hip-Hop), famous for his blistering speed, technical lyricism, and high-energy delivery. Apart from releasing multiple hits of his own, he has also contributed to various songs in Bollywood. Beyond the mic, he has been a prominent face on Indian television, serving as a popular gang leader on MTV Roadies and a judge on the dance reality show Dance India Dance and hip-hop show MTV Hustle.
